Another scoop for the GTI-R Homepage!!!
Yahoo GTI-R email group list member Phil Oram has been beavering away for a few months now to come up with this newly designed composite bonnet . It's a carbon fibre/glassfibre mix that saves a huge lump of weight at the front of the car.
The bonnet shown is fitted to Phil's own car which sports an EVO 5/6 front mounted intercooler. The bonnet would still fit onto the original top-mounted intercooler by adding the original rubber mouldings.
